Revenue and results for the first half of 2018:

The consolidated revenue amounted to €95.5 million and as such was 20% higher than last year. As a result of this considerable increase in revenue, the gross margin was also higher. This resulted in a substantially higher operating profit (EBIT) of €6.1 million (€3.2 million in 2017). The net profit consequently also was substantially higher and amounted to €4.9 million.

At Agri & Food Systems revenue was 50% higher than last year and amounted to €41.3 million. This resulted in a substantially higher operating profit of €3.2 million in the first half-year. The order intake was also higher than last year, as a result of which the order book remains well-filled.

At €54.7 million, Plastic Components’ revenue was 4% higher in comparison to the same period last year. Due to the fact that gross margin rose more than fixed costs, the operating profit significantly increased to €3.6 million.

Bart Aangenendt, CEO of Hydratec: “We were off to a good start this year and the outlook for the year as a whole consequently is positive. Due to uncertainties in global trade and the automotive market, it is still too early to make any specific statements for the year as a whole, however.”
